Croiser les traces, les photos et les témoignages des dramatiques, les mettre en son, ce qui me reste à faire lorsque j’aurai conclu cette série d’articles. Réaliser ce documentaire en somme!

Last meeting in Cairo with Nour (Nour = light)
Nour is a young egyptian writer, she ‘s also studying criminal law in Cairo. She writes texts of Monodrama and other kind of short stories.

Nour is particulary interested in society subject like accidents, imprisonment, corruption.

She told me two stories wich reveal what is at stake with Egyptian Monodrama stories : the memory of people and the freedom of speaking and acting.

One of the story is about the fire of Beni Suef Theatre in 2005 and the second about a train accident in Upper-Egypt, the day of The Aïd El Kebir in 2002.

By diging in my memory and in my footage archive, I remember I welcome an actress for the Monodrama Festival in 2007 in Cairo, Nora Amin.
Nora Amin played a Monodrama about this accident in Beni Suef. ( my pictures)
At that time, I understood that the story was about a woman fire sacrifice . But I was far from the reality of Nora Amin. She lost one of his close parent in this accident. By acting this Monodrama, she did a catharsis. I mean, she delivered herself of a terrible tragedy she can’t bear. 6 years after, this story come back to me from an other woman.
Nour use Monodrama as her own criminal court. She can’t bear this carelessness or neglect which destroy the life of egyptian people today.

It’s not the beginning, start to read the posts with the first one ! …………………………………………………………………………………………………
